I’ve been blending about 15% of these unroasted robusta into my usual arabica for an extra caffeine kick, and it definitely delivers. The bitterness is noticeable but not overwhelming when you stick to the recommended 10-20% range—it’s made my morning cup feel punchier.
Home roasting these beans was a nice weekend project — the 500g bag gave me plenty to experiment with. I found that a 15% ratio in my usual blend added exactly the kick the description promises, though it does get bitter if you overshoot it.
